Back in Naples, this year's edition of Futuro Remoto is dedicated to a "Journey at the core of the Earth". In Paestum archaeology in the spotlight with the fair on tourism and cultural heriatge. Integration and violence are, instead, some of the themes discussed in the cinema kermis in Orta di Atella. Grand opera at the San Carlo theatre in Naples with Rossini's "Semiramide", while rock music is on in Caserta with the concert by Negramaro.

In Benevento on display the local artcraft, while in Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi starts the food fest Sagra delle Sagre.

The Giro d’Italia stops in province of Avellino, Caserta and Benevento. All ready to cheer the riders. “150 Uniti” is the title of the initiative that tours Naples. On are also treks in Irpinia and in province of Salerno. All topped by tastings of local products.
