Naples and the narration of its contemporaneity. The experimental theatre between the Seventies and the Nineties portrayed by Cesare Accetta. A photographic path retraces the blissful artistic theatre of the period: from Mario and Maria Luisa Santella’s Teatro Alfred Jarry to Vittorio Lucariello’s Spazio Libero; from Arturo Morfino’s Play Studio and Michele del Grosso’s TIN to Gennaro Vitiello’s Libera Ensemble, later run by Renato Carpentieri and Lello Serao . Plus: Laura Angiulli ‘s Teatro/Galleria Toledo; the Teatro Nuovo; Toni Servillo’s Teatro Studio di Caserta; Mario Martone’s Falso Movimento; Enzo Moscato; Annibale Ruccello; Teatri Uniti; the Compagnia ‘86 of Marianna Troise; the theatre of Remondi and Caporossi; Magazzini Criminali of Federico Tiezzi and Sandro Lombardi; La Gaia Scienza of Giorgio Barberio Corsetti; Leo De Berardinis.
A monographic section dedicated to the theatre of Antonio Newiller, poetic expression of the Teatro dei Mutamenti. The exhibition is completed by a conference on the experimental theatre between the Seventies and the Nineties with many important exponents of the artistic movement.
