A new way to explore, understand and valorise the quality, creativity and complexity of cinema, scenography and costumes. This the original aim of the Sannio Film Festival, the only international event entirely dedicated to costume movies. The 14th edition is divided into two sections: Un anno in costume (A year in costume), review of the best historical movies, and Premiere, the space dedicated to national premières. The program contains also special events, retrospective shows, exhibitions and two evenings during the weekend dedicated to teenagers, organised in collaboration with Cartoon Network and Boomerang. On display at the Castello Ducale the costumes of the prestigious Sartoria Tirelli. Over 15.000 original costumes used in some of the greatest films. Starting from Il Gattopardo by Luchino Visconti up to Titanic, Elizabeth, Moulin Rouge and Tim Burton’s Alice in wonderland. The ancient centre of Sant’Agata de’Goti turn into a movie location for 10 days. Don’t miss it.
