Teano Jazz Festival 2010

The 2010 edition refuels with new life the review that, since the 1993, represents an important point of reference for the southern Italy jazz music scenery. The 2010 program is a tribute to the Cuban music presenting many artists coming from the Caribbean island. The review starts on July the 24th with Ray Gelato, English singer and saxophonist with Italy-American origin; on July the 25th with Arturo Sandoval, the legendary trumpeters from Cuba (object of For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story, a movie released in 2010 with Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan); on July the 26th the festival hosts the Buena Vista Social Club, the Famous band of the Cuban tradition; on July the 27th Marcus Miller, one of the greatest bassists of the jazz story. The Festival also hosts the Perugia Funking band, forged by 16 musicians, who enliven the city centre of Teano.
